December's Coming

by StandStill   Jul 29, 2008

Tears rip acid tracks down my cheeks,
perfectly imperfect slopes.
Sometimes I wonder if insanity is sweet;
sometimes I wonder if I already know.

Every deep breath pukes out lies,
I am breathing, is she too?
Helium, I rise, I fall...
sweetly inhaled by the sky's deep blue.

December climbs 'round my spine;
shiver, shake..it feels so fresh.
Autumn leaves are thundering past,
oh, we fall haphazardly into the rush.

Ivy creeps up walls too high,
balloons fly so far away.
Dandelion puffs float into the breeze
as ashes turn from red to grey

    I like the first part.... the rest of it...not so much. you went from something so deep to something that seemd so much like what everyone else is writing nowadays.
    my suggestion is to just add on to the first stanza... good job though:)
