Trust

You played with my mind
When I didn't trust from the start.
You mess with my feelings
And ended up bruising my heart.

You never meant those words you said.
You only wanted me for my body.
I should have known when you said those famous words,
"Wow, you're such a hottie."

In my heart I knew you were lying,
But my mind wouldn't let me believe.
Part of me wanted to take a chance,
But I ended up being deceived.

I just put my heart on the line,
Like it seems I always do.
I need to learn how to say "no"
It was a mistake for trusting you.

My trust is now below zero.
My respect for you is gone.
Guys are not to be trusted.
I wish I would have known it all along.
