Another Love, Another Heart-Break

by Soulful Ensemble   Jul 30, 2008

Another love
I lost again.
Who to blame?
The wind just came.

My feet were taken
Hair is blowing still.
There's an image of us fading
That the night did steal.

Will I ever regain sight?
God knows I'll try.
Unrequited love is bleak
And I can only cry.

You cleaned my dirt
From every where it lay.
You left me quietly
With nothing more to say.

I will try to sleep
Now the night has come.
It might never leave
Now that hope is gone.

How to ask for chances
When chances are by force?
And you don't want to see me
As my voice is hoarse.

That feeling in my stomach
It just won't disappear.
I'm feeling strained inside
Thinking you were near.

In mirrors I see you
And it seems that you see me.
You're alone, I know
But still won't be with me.

Choosing loneliness over love
Is what you seem to do.
I feel so destroyed-- like rain
Drops slamming on the floor.

And every night that lasts a day
Can't mend a heart that ran away.
With light that never comes
How will I be okay?

And its alright,
Only my heart is dying.
I'll still seem to live
Even when I'm crying.

And I was only trying
To make something out of nothing.
But the sky fell deep,
As I was finally getting something.

This poem is also about the same relationship I mentioned in " A Short Week's Love".
