If You're Not There

by Ray Smallshaw   Jul 30, 2008

Half a mile or a million miles is just to far,
If you're not there,

A million happy faces are nothing,
If you're not there,

A million warm embraces mean little,
If you're not there,

A day, a week, a month is naught,
If you're not there,

Life is boring, endless and humdrum,
If you're not there,

Time is just another bridge to cross,
If you're not there,

So as you can see there might as well be no me,
If you're not there.

Lovely sentiments of what love means to you, it is your whole world and without that love you are incomplete. Well done.
