One Shot

One shot
For the beginning of mine
I started off well
The good ended with time

One shot
For my family and friends
Hurt them to a point
Our bond came to an end

Another shot
For the words untold
My lies punctured through hearts
My mistrust known as gold

A 4th shot
For the pain i have caused
Didn't mean all the pain
But i have too many flaws

One shot
For the love pushed away
It'll take time
But we'll be together one day

Six shots
For all my regrets
Things i should have done
And only now feel the effects

Two more shots
For my hopes and dreams
I believed in them so much
Forgot about reality

The shots i have taken
Alcohol or a gun
I know how i dealt
Now, you choose which one

One last shot
Wont make me hurt anymore
Now i'm down on the floor
Everything forgotten,
But i want one more.

(i had lost the original copy i wrote of the poem which was a million times better and then tried to rewrite it, although im happy with the outcome, i still hope to find my original copy)

    but in all original subject and really intresting way to put it i loved the flow with every shit i could actualy remmber and like a scene of the words pass through my eyes

    sructure wise it is uniform , but it nee more work on the rhyming

    soo keep working it will be a perfect on !! great work

    I like this poem because i can relate to it alot,it shows to me like all this person wanted was love and forgiveness but nobody cares to give...give me tears in my eyes i like it

    This poem has a dark feel 2 it a depressing mood huh the kind i lik isnt that how we all feel lik we deserve to be kiled in a way fro what weve done good job and welcome to internal sufering
