Just A Game

by hannah johnson   Jul 30, 2008

She runs up her stairs
with tears in her eyes
wondering if he cares
or if they were all lies.

she waits for his call
with a heart full of hope
is he going to let her fall
or dangle by a rope?

She try's to convince herself
he isn't worth her pain
she begins to realize
this was all his game.

He treated her like a princess,
like she was the only one
wasn't till she came to her sense
that hes told that to everyone.

Her heart began to melt
just like a burning candle
this was nothing shes ever felt
something she can not handle.

If he knew the pain he caused her
do you think he would of cared
or would he even bother
my heart needs to be repaired.
