Destined

by Carolina   Jul 30, 2008

Destined not to be alone,
Destined to find someone of my own.

Destined to make something out of myself,
Destined to explore every continental shelf.

Destined and yearning for a place to call home,
Destined to make it more than a pressured dome.

Destined to have children once I succeed,
In everything I'm destined to do, I will now proceed.

Good one but just one critique if I may say so... the word 'destined' is too repetitive here. And that doesn't sound that good. Otherwise it's a good poem.
