looking out the window*

~please vote and comment it really means a lot to me, thank you~

Looking out the window
Wondering where you are
She sits and wishes for the day,
You’ll be back in her arms.

The sun turns into rain,
As her tears begin to flow,
And late at night
She screams out loud for you to come back home.

The days seem to pass by slow,
But she manages to make it through,
For all day long she sits at work
Thinking of the love she had,
Wondering if it will all end bad.

Then she sits up straight,
And remembers to keep her faith,
The love she holds for him is strong,
She just wonders how much longer she can hold on.

Then the night times come,
And she lays her head to sleep,
But right before she closes her eyes,
A tear falls down her cheek.

Memories sore in her head,
Of when they first met,
When he kissed her softly on the lips,
And their first passionate night in bed.

Then she says a prayer
Dear god:
Please let him be okay,
The war is killing me inside each and every day.
I see the news, about those soldiers
Who are dieing out there for us,
And I cry for the families,
Because I can’t imagine how it hurts so much.

Please just bring my love home,
So we can live our lives,
Start a future together,
So I can finally be his wife.

Then has she closes her prayer up
She prays for all the soldiers who risk there lives each day,
For this tormented torturous war to just go away.
Then she says I love you,
Sweet dreams the whole night through
And then she closes her eyes,
With her heart feeling blue.

The next day arrives,
And she wakes up to go to work,
And again the day starts,
With thoughts of him and her.

Looking out the window,
Wondering where you are
She sits and wishes for the day,
You’ll be back in her arms.
