Last Petal of the Daisy ((Loves me, loves me not?))

by StandStill   Jul 31, 2008

You breathe sweet hope upon my skin,
plucking my sisters one by one.
Take them out and slip them down,
play your game with sick pleasure; oh so fun.

Twist the green stem attatched to my feet,
watch as I spin gently for you.
The sun absorbs and flickers off...
you ask me questions, false or true?

Oh, darling, I hate to be the one
who tells you this bitter thought.
But darling, dear, please don't cry...
I'm the last, and I say "Loves you not".

I like this. but its very depressing in a naturey sort of silly game way. i avoid that game all together.
