If I Were a Fairy

If I were a fairy
I'd live in a tree
I'd make a best friend
And he'd be a bee.

When other fairies
Tried to be mean
He'd show them his stinger
So they'd run and scream

I'd cuddle with him
When my leaf house got wet
'Cause he would be furry
And fun to pet

I'd tell him my secrets
And he would say "buzzzzz."
Which would really build
Our foundation of trust

But all good things
Must come to and end
If he uses his stinger
It's goodbye to my friend

So then I'd decide
That I want to be
Another fun creature
Like... a pixie!
