Pretty Little Girl

by ~Someone~   Aug 1, 2008

Pretty little girl,
In a lonely little world.
There's no one to love,
No one to care.
For her fragile soul.
She is her own best friend.
She spends her days,
Listening to the sad songs on the radio.
She spends her nights,
Crying herself to sleep.
Pretty little girl can't hold on much longer,
The seams of her life,
Slowly tearing apart.
Won't anyone save this girl from disaster?
Her spirits are breaking,
Into a million pieces of nothing.
How did her life get like this?
What did she do to deserve this.
Parents who don't care,
Friends who aren't there.
She's only happy in her dreams,
Dreams where she's loved.
Where she has someone to love.
Parents who care,
Best friends that are there.
It's the middle of the night,
She's decided it all.
She won't let her hopes fall.
Her hands shake,
As she opens the bottle,
The bottle of pills,
That will lets her dream forever.
She pops one pill,
Two pills,
Three.
She downs a couple more.
Her eyes close,
Her knees shake.
She can feel her life slowly slipping away.
She's getting weaker,
She falls to the floor.
With her last dying breath,
She says she can now be free,
She can dream forever,
She can now be in a world where she will be loved.
Pretty little girl,
Is now in a happy world.
