Mother daughter war

by Ariana Mejia   Aug 1, 2008

There are so many people around,

shes on the edge of breaking down.

shes lying to herself saying shes ok,

but not knowing if shes going to die today.

depression is killing her inside,

but its getting harder to hide.

shes beautiful but she doesn't see it,

shes ready say goodbye to this life and just quit

shes dizzy and cant see,

she overdosed on prescriptions shes finally free.

paramedics come and take her away,

they told her mother i don't think your daughter will live today.

into the hospital she goes,

her heart beat gets low.

the doctor rushes in with nurses behind,

her mother screams OH WHY??

why is my daughter dying today??

did i make her this way?

she dies that night with her mom by her side,

her mom breaks down and begins to cry.

the doctors rush in to find the daughter dead and her mother hanging from the door,

this was another mother daughter war...

This poem is great! You're such a good writer and it only gets better with age! I'm sorry that you're going through alot, 15--17 is a hard age, but it does get better, i promise! <3
