"You're everytihng I ever wanted,"
At least that's what I said.
I had no idea my thoughts would change,
And your words would make me bleed red.

After almost a year of kissing your lips,
Now they only speak lies.
Everyone else can believe what they want,
But you're everything you despise.

I look back now to see,
Everything that you complained,
You have now taken on as yours,
And I look upon you with disdain.

"A guy should never say such things,"
You used to say with disgust.
But now you're on the other end talking cruelly,
Fueled by hatred and lust.

You hated the thought of leaving me,
Or the image of making me cry.
But then you laughed at all my tears,
With nothing but rage in your eyes.

Everything you ever hated,
Is everything you've become!
You'll never realize, never see...
But to it you have succumbed.
