Cruor Comitissa- The Blood Countess (Elizabeth Bathory)

by LitxUpxWithxLife   Aug 2, 2008

!!!!* This is a poem about Elizabeth Bathory, The Blood Countess, the first Female Vampire*!!!!

Come little servant girl into my room.
Don't worry all that awaits is your tomb.
I'll bathe in your blood and share it's sweet flavor.
My companions will dispose of your body as a favor.

Come little servant girl into my room.
Don't worry all that awaits is your doom.
Into the spiked ball to deliver me my shower.
You'll give me back my beauty in this dark hour.

Come little servant girl into my room.
You won't be scared for I will make you swoon.
My skin now shines with the vigor of being young.
The death of hundreds has already been done.

Come little servant girl into my room.
Who knew this little servant girl would make this my tomb.

*This is the story of Elizabeth Bathory, the so called Blood Countess. Mentioned in the movie "Stay Alive". I visited a website about her and was shocked at the things I learned there. And it inspired me to write a poem about it.*

I always love watching a movie or reading a book and feeling that inspiration to just writing something based on it. You did an excellent job with this piece and I really enjoyed the repetition you used. perfect 5/5 GG23
