You, my Strength

by Lesslovedthanloathed   Aug 2, 2008

My lover, when I'm down
I'll come to you for comfort.
My strength, when I'm tired
I'll come to you for recharge.

You my lover,
You're my strength.
Because when I come running
You welcome me with open arms.

How can I put it in a simple way,
I love you.
And I know I can count on you,
Anytime of day,
Because I'm your lover
And I'm here to stay.

I'd call you ten times a day,
Just to hear your voice,
Just to tell you you're on my mind.
You're my drive, my fuel
That sets off my fire

I just want you to know
You're my strength,
My courage, my passion.
Lover, you are my world.

    Such a cute poem ^_^

i liked how you pieced the sentances together, and connected things to him.

this was the best part "You're my drive, my fuel, That sets off my fire" << that was perfect. how it was set was just so good.

    love the poem 5/5 =]
