I'm Still Telling Myself You Don't Exist

by Lesslovedthanloathed   Aug 3, 2008

I've watched you from that time we met,
Since you first looked into my eyes
And peeked into the depths of my soul
And I asked myself, are you friend or foe?
You so easily crumbled the walls inside of me
You so easily read my every thought.

I'm still telling myself you don't exist,
So lay low for a little longer.
Take your girl on a holiday
To places I've only dreamed of sharing with you.
Because boy it's hard enough as it is.
I'm still telling myself you don't exist.

You came as a stranger,
And thats how you'll leave.
It doesn't even matter what came in between
I didn't want your friendship
I just wanted you as my lover
To you I might just be some girl
But to me you were my ideal.

You my weakness, my dream,
I'm still trying forget what you mean to me.
