** this is my first love poem in a really long time so it might be kinda rough, but bare with me **

Standing on the beach
staring at the floor
wishing, wanting, hoping
that there was something more

the wind is in my hair
the sunlights in my eyes
my heart still full of hope
and my tummy with butterflies

my feet are in the sand
as waves crash around me
thoughts of me and you
is now what surrounds me

i wanna be in your arms
but its hard cuz youre not here
and everytime i think of you
everything becomes so clear

so ill wait for you to come
and light up my night sky
but do me one huge favor
before we say goodbye
