Strength In Tragedy

by lyle fortin   Jun 3, 2004

My dearest love, though we are lost
I am glad I was able to pay the cost
For young love is a budding rose
And you were the soil and ground I chose
The seed we planted never quite grew
But the choice of its growth never belonged to you
I am thankful we danced this dance
And were shown Tragedy in Romance
Though our end brought sorrow at great length
Tragedy In Romance Gives us Strength
