Only free birds fly

As I look into the blue,
all i see is the sky,
but how do i get there?
all i can think of,is to fly.

I'm tied down by the straps
of the blue's unawareness
I'm so near, But so far.

why would i go there,
when they don't see my longing
to be free into the endless
of knowing.

I feel like a bird,
only flying where I'm wanted
but desire so much more
can't the blue set me free
allowing me to go where
only free birds fly.
