The Veil

by Failling Death   Aug 4, 2008

The Veil starts to lift
I can start to see images now
I understand better now
But it hurts more

The Veil starts to thin
And I start to wince
The world was not as I once saw it
People no longer seem the same

The Veil was not a blind
I learn it was my own deluded vision
And the world started to sting so much the more

The Veil was a shield
It protected me from the truth
As my eyes cleared I realized I was alone

The Veil made my mind blurry
It made me think some cared
It gave me deluded peace

As The Veil lifted
I realized I was alone

This is a good topic, but there wasnt an obvious format, or a strong flow.
