I counted the hours, the days, the weeks
Until I held your hand to touch your skin
I'm dreamt of spending every second
Just embracing your brilliance
It breathed me a reason

I then held your hand
I touched your skin
I felt your breath
And love within

I seen your smile
I heard your laugh
Embraced the voice
Of my other half

I will count the hours, the days, the weeks
Until I can hold your hand again,
To touch your skin again
I'll dream of spending every second
Just embracing your brilliance once more
This hope breathes me a reason

    My favorite line. The beautiful simplicity in this stanza was a perfect way of describing the soulmate. I think this poem can even be turned into a song. :) 5/5 hugs
