What Really Makes the World go Round

by SoUrNameIsTia   Aug 6, 2008

Swinging back and forth,
in a thick rubber seat,
ahead of me,
i see the things that have changed.

No more basket ball hoops,
there isn't a pond,
what used to be a trail of flowers,
is now grass just wisping the way of the wind.

A familiar sound,
from above my head,
is the squeak of the swings,
i sit in.
other then that,
its sad and quite as a graveyard.

Things are going to change,
i think to myself,
whether i realize it or not.

Time morphs all matter,
nothing can stop it,
time and change,
is what makes the world go round.

Just look up and see.
