Im suffocating,
Trying to grasp the words to explain,
All this pain and anguish,
I feel alone in this world,
Everything and everyone,
Is in this beautiful color,
Im just shades of vibrant gray,
I turn to the only friend I know,
Close my tearful eyes,
And drawl her across my arm once again.
Falling asleep dreading the start of the next day,
I wake not wanting to step foot out of bed,
Painting on my fake smile to fool the world,
I throw myself together,
Looking in the mirror, thinking,
Is this my life?
