My tears fall like Autumn leaves,
Silent and graceful.
Also like those smooth sailing leaves,
They go totally unnoticed.
I hide my tears like a pirate hides treasure,
My greatest secret of all.
My pain is as they strong, sturdy chest,
My tears are as the valuable treasure.
My body is as a snails shell,
A protective outer surface.
Also like a snail my insides are soft,
But every strike to my shell slowly sinks in.
