Teardrops from the darkened sky,
Glide down the window pane.
Claps of thunder, amid flashes of light
Scream of a silence slain.
Echoes of sound rocket around me,
As the sky cries bloody tears.
The thunder terrifying as I try to sleep,
The sound reverberating through my ears.
Poisoned thoughts on a corrupted mind.
Bitter temptations and past mistakes
Never lost, but continuous reminders
of a Ghost's eternal wake.
Time is pacing around me,
As I remember thoughts from before.
The pain of a broken heart, and soul,
The nuisance that I can't ignore.
Midnight patters of a racing heart,
Haunted dreams and wasted words.
Doubts circling amidst the star-crossed ceiling
Crying out, only to be heard.
My thoughts start to mix together.
A drumming in the background,
Insane pictures push themselves forward.
Screams of terror rip through my throat, with no sound
Weightless vapors of a shadow's regrets,
illuminating lullabies among the walls.
Lies and misconceptions glazed over the floor
Fortelling a future, threatening to fall.
