Diluted Dreams

by gracey grey   Aug 7, 2008

Folded dreams asunder
solitaire movement here
Another strike to time
loopholes cannot amend

Forging against hatred
this shrunken heart will dry
Last drag a painful puff
as smog engulfs mine eye

Bridge bound by silky thread
serenely losing grip
Slumbering hope defied
Oh why must this happen?

Fatigued mind swapped over
pretence embraced upon
Solitude in domain
lead me to where fools dwell
I will forever stumble never to forget.

This was a sad rather poignant poem that left me thinking, again a beautiful choice of words well written and creative too
