He lies here in pain
Hoping this feeling will go away
He needs to be hugged
He wants to be loved
He fears he won't get what he wants or needs
He wishes he knew what was making him feel this way
He's hanging on so tightly
So he doesn't fall to pieces
But as time passes
This torture only grows
He stands there so close to the edge
Wanting to blame someone for this pain
