A Daughter

by Paul London   Aug 8, 2008

Silly and funny, she has a bright smile
So care free so joyful, queen of the pile.
Boisterous and happy, a smile she will evoke
This girl is beautiful, she loves to joke.

The day I met her, my life became replete
She arrived blue and wrinkled, oh so sweet.
The joy of my life, since day one
Gods little angel, a miracle done.

Darling daughter, of mine you are
My moon my sky, my shinning star;
My purpose in life, is plain you see
To watch you grow, into the woman you will be.

For my daughter Ashley
