A statement of my intent,
Maybe even a brief entry of a journal,
Anything else is meant,
As long as it's not called
A poem.

I gave up long ago,
Desire died away
This is just a note to show,
A message to say
This is not a poem.

Call it what you will,
Call it what you need,
Name it as you feel,
As you see
Best. But it is not a poem.

I no longer write
Words of poetic value.
I no longer write
Words of any value.
