Sick of Being Tired ((And Tired of Being Sick))

by StandStill   Aug 8, 2008

I'm just so sick
of being tired.
The words seem fake
and the friends are all hired.

But the lights are on,
and this ain't a song.
Just a poem in the silence
in a day that feels long.

I'm just so tired
of being so sick.
It seems like my best,
doesn't do the trick.

But the curtain's up,
and these words all abound.
Sometimes I'm here,
but I'm not around.

Break down's breaking,
sweet like the dawn.
Overload of information,
playing the queen's pawn.

I'm just so sick and tired
of being tired and sick.
August snowflakes keep on melting,
wonder doesn't seem to stick.
