This is what they call love at first site

by Infected with His Deadly Love   Aug 9, 2008

When I look into your eyes
My whole body shudders
And my legs get weak
I can barely stand

I try to speak to you
But my tongue gets tied
My heart beats fast
And I start to sweat

Butterflies are swimming
In my stomach
My whole body is shaking
And I can barely stand up

You don't care that
I'm a nervous wreck
You take my hand
And lead me away

Although we just met
I know we are going to last
Cos this is what they call
Love at first site

    "And my legs get weak

    [My legs get weak
    And I can barely stand]
    - Personally I think that it sounds better like that, it might just be me though? Maybe. (:

    "Love at first site"
    [Love at first sight]
    - NOW, I may be wrong with this. Us American's have MANY ways to spell one word and each one has different meanings. 'Site' in America actually means a webSITE or a location of some sort. SIGHT means seeing and such. I know Aussie is different, so it might be the correct spelling there, but if not I thought I'd let you know. (:

I really liked this poem darling. I thought that you did a nice job of piecing it together. Short yet sweet. Very sweet. AND sincere.

    Kudos. :D:D:D
