Life

by Wolf Haines   Aug 9, 2008

Behold the river as day breaks.
Ebbing its way to mountain lakes.
Rippled gently by a cool flurry,
Swirling and flowing in no visible hurry.

Caressing boulders and dancing with reeds.
Quenching thirsts and other needs.
Rising and falling as time dictates.
One way ticket, the sea awaits.

Reminds me of poems by a gifted poet on another site. She is quite amazing and I think anyone would be proud to be compared if they read her work. Shes studing creative writing but takes it to another level
