Pink lies

by Sweetdream   Aug 9, 2008

I paint my face to hide all my imperfections,
Cover up hides the bags under my eyes,
From all my sleepless nights,
A hint of blush will cover flesh that is pale,
Leaving no indication that I am frail,
Pink eye shadow will give the impression,
My eyes aren't dark with depression,
Red flavored gloss smeared over my lips,
Will help my fake smiles to stick,
I paint my face to hide all my imperfections,
When I do this it seems like I am trying,
But really behind pink lies I am hiding.
