Counting her scars

by CrossCut   Aug 9, 2008

She sits cross legged
On the big blue bed
Reciting her memories
And counting her scars

She starts from the top
And works her way down
Counting her scars
Oh, here's one for her mom

One for her mom
More for her dad
Some for her sisters
Haven't you heard?

One sisters to busy
The other's 'insane'
Her dads an addict
Her mom doesn't care

Move to the other wrist
Start counting them there
She starts from the top
And works her way down

Sitting cross legged
On the big blue bed
She begins making memories
She's creating new scars
