Your Life. (Septet)

by Steven Beesley   Aug 10, 2008

Take a look
closely at your life,
are you happy with it's course?
Learn and try to make the best of it,
even though you can't change it.
Be true to your self
and be free.

Septet:

In Latin = Septem. German origin, meaning 7 hence only 7 lines in length. A verse form that has a syllable count of:-

1st Line - three syllables
2nd line - five syllables
3rd line - seven syllables
4th line - nine syllables
5th line - seven syllables

7th line - three syllables

This is the first time I have seen a Septet...there are so many poetry forms....I don't think I will ever learn them all.
    Great job!
