Over and Over

Over and over again I continue to fall,
Can't seem to move on, I keep giving us my all.
I've given my heart; I've given my time,
I've given my everything to keep you as mine.

I know this is destructive and can't be good,
People say I shouldn't love you, but I feel I should.
We have gone through times both good and bad,
But all of them add to the memories we've had.

I know I'm safe when I lay in your arms,
This isn't just lust, I've fallen to your charm.
But over and over again I chase you down,
Over and over in my love I drown.

I hate how much I love you, but here I stay,
I know that it's wrong, but my love never strays.
Screaming my lungs out trying to get you to see,
The only thing I want from you is to be here with me.

Nothing in this world could even begin to compare,
This love I have for you, but it seems you don't care.
And you completely know the power that you own,
If I am without you, I feel nothing but alone.

You know you can leave and come as you please,
Maybe one of these days your magic won't affect me.
I know what's best for me, but I'd rather have you.
Maybe someday you'll see that my love is true...
