A Dream

by H E Losey   Aug 10, 2008

When I was young, I had a dream
Of how my life would be
My college years, no lover's tears
Love, peace and harmony

But plans may change, and so did mine
Youth's dreams for life no more
My service years and mother's tears
Depression, distress and discord.

Though youth has passed, the dream yet glows
Of how my life could be
In autumn years, as true love nears
Love, peace and harmony.

I loved this write. It was short but it definatly said so much. Something that you will always dream for in life. It was a interesting read to see what you dream for, because we all have our different dreams and hopes for our lives. This one, I will be rating a 5/5 for. I think you put more thought into this one than your others.
