Noah And His Wife

by Wolf Haines   Aug 10, 2008

Hitting the crisis of mid life
Noah turned to Noamah his wife.
'I am going to build the biggest boat,
And away from you I will float.'
She replied 'OK dear, but when you do,
Take these animals two by two.
They keep digging up my lavender and sage
And keep leaving me in a rage.
Oh and before you go
These barely seeds I need you to sow'
Noah queried 'anything else my rose bud
That I can do before the flood?'
'Actually yes, those apples- you can peel.
I'm going to use them in our evening meal'
Noah exclaimed 'I don't think you comprehend
That I shall not return when the rain descends'
'Of course not dearest angel of mine
But I'll see you for dinner at nine'
