Things I Must Say

So many things I feel I must say
But where in the world do I start?
I’ll start with my thoughts (so many of you)
And move down towards my heart.

I know I promised
I would never forget
The day of our first kiss
Or that day when we met.

And I know I never will
But somehow I knew
That you would forget
Because I could never forget you

You were always in my heart
And that's where you will stay
And I never thought I would be the one to say this
But I guess I love you a little less each day.

I always thought
We would be together forever
But now I know you are gone
I think it's time for me to finally move on
