Natsu no ame (Summer rain) [haiku]

by Kuro   Aug 11, 2008

~~~This is a Japanese Haiku~~~
I originally wrote this in Japanese. The rules for Japanese haiku's are a little different than English rules.
natsu no ame, (5)
ue ni tenraku, (7)
shizu shizu to. (5)
*Translated into English*
Summer rain,
Falls above me,
Quietly.
    How can something so simple be so powerful? That is why I loved this one and that is why I love haikus. I think with it written in the Japanese language, it made it more powerful and beautiful. nice job. :)
    Nice! Unique Japanese, that's cool.
    It made me think of even through sun and happy times, one can still feel sad and oppressed - the irony of a summer's rain.
