I Don't Want To Die

by Ray Smallshaw   Aug 11, 2008

I don't want to die yet without you I surely will,
As you were the one who brought me back from the brink,
When you grasped me by my collar and pulled me back,
Metaphorically as it was your all surrounding love that gave me life,
Lifting me up when I was down and capturing my once shattered heart,
That heart that now beats for only you,
So if you are not there I will silently slip away to nothingness,
So please once more grasped me by my collar and pull me back again,
As I don't want to die.
