This sad poem I paint.

by Macaroni   Aug 11, 2008

Ripped out, slit opened and shattered.
She cant sort her feelings, they're scattered.
Hides the truth from everyone else.
Pop a pill or two, says herself.

A river of tears roll down her face.
She pretends she's in another place.
She pounds the floor til her fists turn red.
As voices party in her head.

Tries to drink away her sorrow.
As she runs far from tomorrow.
She's too weak, she can't face the sun.
It blinds her so she's on the run.

Too much disappointment, too much pain.
Beats herself up thinking about the shame.
Crawls away to count the sands of time.
Because she heard that soon it'll be fine.

Yet she doubts she can hold out for long.
So before she goes, she sings this sad song.
