Singing a white goodbye
Words from a blank reply
A sleeveless heart begins to cry
As a breath is left to die

Roles played by dramatic actors
weaving letters across banners
reminiscing over life's blunders
swimming in a sea of errors

Killing the beat of a hopeful soul
agony through an open hole
wondering how time will roll
As emptiness takes it's toll.

The flow kept it together then the imagery added another element to it. I like the first stanza which caught my attention. It just easily came together.

There is so much sadness in your words. This reallt tugs at the heart.

We spend so much time thinking of where we went wrong or if things had turned out different.

Killing the beat of a hopeful soul
    agony through an open hole
    wondering how time will roll
    As emptiness takes it's toll.

This brings tears to my eyes. I know the feeling of emptiness so well. The feelings as if there is nothing left fopr you in this world.

    Excellent job!
