I like the way you repeat the word 'feel', it compounds its meaning. I also like the hanging suspence with the last line 'it won't be long'

A trap, but one that is laid with bait, a tempting bait, a bait that want you to reach out and steal it so it can steal you! You leave the reader in limbo, will your saviour give you the strength you need to resist the devils bait?? If we have faith we can succeed!!
