Keep Singing Our Song

by Pia   Aug 12, 2008

Ever since we went our separate ways,
Trying to leave without a trace,
There are some things I still hold on to,
It's the memories of when I was with you.
The late night calls, the flying bills,
The sweet warmth when the cold night chills,
The endless laughs and deceiving smiles,
The constant space-outs and silent sighs.
The things you said in your blue car,
The songs you played on my guitar,
The flowers you gave on my window sill,
Still there, and like us, are wilting still.
Forgive me for throwing us far apart,
For being the cause for the tears to start,
And forgive me, for though I know it's wrong,
I know I would still keep singing our song.
