Butterfly hope

by shadowknight   Aug 12, 2008

They call your name,
A soft whisper lost between the breezes,
Begging you to stay, dont leave,
Your heart declines and your breathing shallows.

We're shouting, but you fail to hear,
Your body's shaking,
Memories flashing across your face,
A battle of pain tears amongst your mind.

To know what goes on in that head of yours,
To help you win this battle against the odds,
Your hands are cold, your lips blue,
The only light reflects of your small ring.

A small gold band with a small butterfly,
A small flutter of life, a small flutter of hope,
Please, I beg again, please no,
And then you fall.
