Forgetting All The Blue

by Soulful Ensemble   Aug 13, 2008

I feel pure and simple
But full of everything.
And I'm strong and nimble
Brand new, like spring.

And I love you in the night
When the cold day casts its last dying shadow.
Killing all the fright
And past anguish that made me feel so shallow.

You're somebody that lets me be sincere
With everybody else I always had a fear.
Now I'm strong and new
Forgetting all the blue
With these feelings that are the only truth.

I love you in the morning, too
And when its after noon.
You're in my mind's deep root
The flowers are in bloom.

And if you were a flower
You'd be the prettiest one.
And with passion you'd shower
A new garden on my lawn.

Talking for some hours
But wanting even more.
I've got a selfish sickness
For the one that I adore.

You just don't leave my mind
Your face is not ignored.
And I'm happy to find
That all my love is yours'.

And tomorrow when I wake and smile
I'll be thinking of you.
And every frown will die a while
As I close my eyes and forget the blue.
