When were together time goes by so quickly,
Like its trying to escape the jaws of life.
Amazing hours seem like running minutes
Beautiful minutes seem like fleeting seconds.

And yet ....
When were apart time goes by so heart wrenchingly slow,
Like its testing me to see how long I can actually go.

But let me tell you something that you may or may not already know -

No matter how long were apart,
No matter how far the distance
As long as you hold my heart and I hold yours
