Did you think leaving me was for the best?
Can't you see me crying, or do you not know?
Didn't you know I loved you more then the rest?

Can't you hear my pleas, hear me shout?
Didn't you see I loved you most of all?
What was your leaving me about?

Daddy, daddy are you in a better place?
Do you remember the great memorys we had?
Do you know I'll never forget your face?
You'll always be my wonderful dad!

Do you look down at me, and shake your head?
Do you think the tears I shed are for the better?
Do you think it's bad I still mourn because your dead?
And did you shed a tear when you wrote me that letter?

I keep reading your last words for me, crying,
How bad it made me feel when I thought of you,
The ugly thoughts of your cold, limp body dying,
Laying on the floor, how your pool of blood grew.

Daddy, daddy how is it up in heaven? is it bright?
Like we thought it always would be?
I can't help but think, did you struggle, did you fight?
Were any of your last thoughts of me?

Were you in that much pain, that you didn't let on?
Is there something I didn't know?
But I'll never know, because now my dad is gone.
