Kiss of Dawn

by Emma   Aug 13, 2008

I'm nourished by the loving arms
Of the Sun, glittering above.
I'm bathed in the morning rain,
Like droplets of true love.
I'm planted on the lady's lawn
A rose, prettiest at break of Dawn.

I'm sleeping under a blanket of stars
And meditating under a crescent moon.
I'm snoozing to the melody
Of the Wind whistling his breathy tune.
I'm slumbering on the lady's lawn
And woken by the kiss of Dawn.

Absolutely beautiful nature poem. Throughout all of it, I had vivid imagery planted in my mind. This was a pleasure to read. Good work. Keep writing, always and forever...
